SPECIFICATION

The 100GBASE-DR Single Lambda QSFP optical transceiver module is designed to support 100GBASE Ethernet transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 500 meters, using a 1310 nm wavelength and duplex LC connectors. It utilizes onboard PAM4 modulation and FEC to transmit the 100 Gigabit Ethernet signal over a single wavelength. The module features a Broadcom chip that converts 4x25G NRZ electrical signals into a 1x100G PAM-4 optical signal. Additionally, it offers digital diagnostic functions accessible via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP MSA, enabling real-time monitoring of operating parameters. This hot-swappable and easy-to-install transceiver is well-suited for applications such as data centers and 100G Ethernet networks.
