DESCRIPTION
This is a PCIe x8 quad‑port 10G fiber Ethernet adapter powered by an Intel controller. It features four integrated 10G Ethernet MACs and SFP+ ports, with built-in MAC/PHY management and packet flow control. Hardware acceleration offloads TCP/UDP/IP checksums, computation tasks, and TCP segmentation to reduce host CPU load. Optimized for multi‑core processors with intelligent queuing and on‑chip load balancing, the adapter delivers high scalability for 10G Ethernet networks. Supporting Intel Virtualization Technology (VT‑c) including VMDq and VMDc, it reduces I/O bottlenecks, improves throughput, lowers latency, and offloads data sorting and inter‑VM switching to boost performance in virtualized environments.
