DESCRIPTION

This is a PCIe x8 dual-port 10G SFP+ Ethernet adapter, powered by the Intel 82599 controller. It features two integrated 10Gb Ethernet MACs and SFP+ ports, with built-in packet processing and MAC/PHY management.

Through hardware acceleration, it offloads TCP/UDP/IP checksums, segmentation, and other computing tasks to reduce server CPU overhead. Optimized for multi-core processors with intelligent queuing and load balancing, it delivers excellent 10GbE scalability.

Supporting Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-c) including VMDq and VMDc, the adapter offloads data sorting and inter-VM switching, minimizes I/O bottlenecks, lowers latency, and boosts throughput in virtualized environments. It also enables unified networking for LAN, SAN, and IPC traffic over a single Ethernet infrastructure, offering high reliability, scalability, and performance for modern virtualized data centers.
