SPECIFICATION
The 100GBASE-FR Single Lambda QSFP28 optical transceiver module is tailored for 100GBASE Ethernet applications, supporting data transmission up to 2 kilometers over single-mode fiber (SMF) at a wavelength of 1310 nm through duplex LC connectors. It employs onboard PAM4 modulation and FEC to transmit the 100 Gigabit Ethernet signal over a single wavelength. The module integrates a Broadcom chip that converts 4x25G NRZ electrical signals into a 1x100G PAM-4 optical signal. Compliant with QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3cd, and 100G Lambda MSA standards, this transceiver also offers digital diagnostic functions via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA, enabling real-time monitoring of operating parameters. Its hot-swappable design and ease of installation make it well-suited for diverse applications, including data centers, 100G Ethernet networks, and 400G-to-100G breakout scenarios.
