SPECIFICATION

The 100GBASE-LR Single Lambda QSFP28 optical transceiver module is designed for 100G Ethernet applications, supporting data transmission up to 10 kilometers over single-mode fiber (SMF) at a wavelength of 1310 nm through duplex LC connectors. It utilizes onboard PAM4 modulation and FEC to transmit the 100 Gigabit Ethernet signal over a single wavelength. The module features a Broadcom chip that converts 4x25G NRZ electrical signals into a 1x100G PAM-4 optical signal. Compliant with QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3cd, and 100G Lambda MSA standards, this transceiver also offers digital diagnostic functions accessible via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA, to monitor real-time operating parameters. Its hot-swappable design and ease of installation make it suitable for a variety of applications, including data centers, 100G Ethernet, and 400G-to-100G breakout scenarios.
